NOTICE: Due to ordering levels as well as covid isolation requirements our leadtimes may vary from the 7 and 14 working day lead time as listed below. Please refer to the dispatch date during the order process for when your order will be dispatched.
Transport companies are increasingly being impacted by the isolation requirements of the goverments COVID settings. This is causing delays and disruptions with shipments for all areas. While we can control when we dispatch your order we can not control the time it takes for your order to be delivered. Please allow extra days for delivery on top of the approximate times below. Tracking your order and contacting the carrier may help with a timely delivery.
We endeavour to manufacture and dispatch your order to you within 7 working days after you place the order/payment. Note:The final Dispatch date will be confirmed after your order is processed and planned.The final dispatch date may vary from the 7 working days advertised for specific production reasons including non-standard cabinets, ranges or colours. For Minimal orders the lead time is 14 working days.
Depending on your location it will take several more days for the trucking company to deliver to your area. The trucking company will be in contact with you to advise a delivery time. Delivery takes place during the working week. It is important therefore to accurately put your correct delivery address and mobile phone details in at the time of ordering!. To give you an idea of the time it takes following dispatch from the factory, lead times to towns are approximate:
There will be some variation based on trucking schedules and or delays - this may be in addition to the transit times listed above.. Final delivery to your site needs to be arranged between you and the trucking company.
Where possible please keep a safe distance and wear a face mask
Keep in mind we are delivering cabinets which are palletised due to the size of an order.
For Auckland deliveries, we will call you to arrange delivery and advise delivery expectations.
For deliveries outside of Auckland your order is palletised on a large 2.4mtr x 1.1mtr pallet and shipped on a bulk freight carrier. The size of the order will determine how many pallets. Courier options are available on request for small orders only.
Once we have shipped your order you will receive an email confirmation which will advise you the tracking details of your order. PLEASE READ THIS EMAIL CAREFULLY AS THERE IS IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING DELIVERY.
As UDUIT is a DIY service, it is expected you can assist or arrange assistance to help the driver unload your order off the truck. Therefore you need to be there at the time of delivery as trucking companies only have 1 driver. The carrier is expected to call you to advise of a delivery time. You as the reciever will be expected to check the condition of the pallet before unwrapping and off loading the items. Refer to the terms and conditions.
The carrier will unload off the truck to the nearest point possible on your property accessible by a large truck. For example if you have easy access they can unload at your door. Moving product to the storage location is up to you. If your access is more difficult (eg steep driveway, or overhanging trees on your driveway, or not accessible according to the driver) then they will drop off to the nearest accessible point possible, this may be the road frontage - you will need to arrange to transfer your order from this point. The driver is not expected to assist you with this. All pallets and packaging is the recievers responsibility, the driver is not expected to take this away. Once you've completed adding items to your basket and you click the Generate Quote button, UDUIT will automatically calculate shipping costs for you based on the destination you choose. For larger cities - Auckland, Hamilton, Tauranga, Wellington, Christchurch, and Dunedin - the shipping calculation includes delivery to all suburbs regarded as part of normal city limits.
For smaller towns, the calculation covers within town limits only. If you are anywhere outside town or your address is referenced as RD then you will need to email us before placing your order online so that we can check shipping costs for you. Please complete an obligation free online quote first as this calculates the size/weight of the order, which we will need to calculate the delivery cost. Just use the closets town centre for your destination. We will amend your quote once we have confirmed the price with the carrier.
If you've already gone through and made a payment, and you live outside of the town zones or you are an RD address, it's possible you many need to make a small extra freight payment. We will email you if this is the case. Please Note: your order will be placed on hold and the leadtime adjusted until this has been sorted.
Note: As greater Auckland is very large, plenty of shipping zones have been set up for you.
For Small items like softclosers or small orders which can be couriered please email us after you have done an online quote so that we can check if this is possible and amend the quote to suit. Our system calculates using our bulk freight carrier in the first instance which has sent minimums for a complete kitchen order.

We use a payment process run by New Zealand Banks and Windcave formerly known as Payment Express. This process means that when you are putting in your credit card details, you are communicating directly with our Bank and Windcave. Payments are processed through the secure Windcave Payment Express System. All credit card details for payments are placed on the Windcave system. We do not get to see your credit card details and nocredit card information is stored by UDUIT. Uduit gets notification from the bank/Windcave payment system that a payment has been made. If you opt out of the payment process before completing it, or you have insuffient funds then your order will be reverted back to a quote. You will need to place the order again. Login and go to the Orders Section and you will see the quote, click on the order button and complete the order process.
Windcave (www.windcave.com) runs an internationally compliant Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standard (DSS) system in conjunction with New Zealand's major banks. The UDUIT site has been audited to qualify for these security standards. As well as being tested for security standards for this system, a second step is that our business must apply to our New Zealand bank for a merchant faciliyt in order to interact with the Windcave payment system. The bank rigourously checks the site and business for appropriate trading terms and conditions which protect consumers (and themselves) from any risk associated with non-delivery.
Some customers are concerned with the idea of placing credit card payments in advance of receiving their goods. In a small market, UDUIT would not have survived as long as it has without first class delivery committment and follow up. Wall and Floor cabinets have 1 adjustable shelf. Pantry cabinets have 1 fixed, and 4 adjustable shelves.
Cabinets are made from Moisture Resistant 16mm white gloss melamine board with 0.4mm PVC edging. Doors, Drawer Fronts, and Panels in the UDUIT COLOURS, and UDUIT WOODGRAIN ranges are made from Moisture Resistant 16mm coloured melamine board with matching 2mm PVC edging.
The ultragloss and ultratouch doors and panel range is made by laminating on to E1 grade 16mm MDF. The finish on the reverse side is white flat - thickness including laminates is approximately 17mm.
Selected panels which may be seen both sides/faces, are laminated on each side/face. Edging is matched using the same ultra laminate approximately 1mm thick (varies slightly by colour). Both the laminate and edging is bonded to the substrate with high moisture/heat resistant PUR bonding technology.
Minimal fronts and panels is made by laminating on to E1 grade 18mm MDF. The finsih on the reverse side is also laminate in the same chosen colour.
When you have done your initial online quote/order the system will automatically generate a login using the information you have provided. Your email address will become your login name. A confirmation email will be sent to your email address. If you do not recieve a confirmation within an hour of submitting your initial quote/order please check your Spam and or Junk folder.
