(1) WHERE CAN I SEE COLOURS?

Click on our Colours and Specs page and scroll down. There you will see screen representations of the 4 extraordinary ultra gloss Immagine' Colours, 2 Metallic Immagine' colours, the 14 UDUIT essentials colours, and 6 UDUIT Essentials Woodgrain colours. Please note your screen resolution may mean the colours vary from actual. Just email us if you want us to post out samples.

(2) HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE AFTER I PLACE AN ORDER?

We manufacture and dispatch your order to you within 7 working days after you place the order/payment.

Depending on your location it will take several more days for the trucking company to deliver to your area. The trucking company will be in contact with you to pre-arrange a delivery time. Delivery takes place during the working week. It is important therefore to accurately put your address and mobile phone details in at the time of the order!. To give you an idea of the time it takes following dispatch of the product from the factory, lead times to towns are approximately:

  • Overnight to Auckland central suburbs
  • 2 Days to Hamilton/Tauranga
  • 3 Days to Wellington
  • 5 Days to Christchurch

There will be some variation based on trucking schedules. Final delivery to your site needs to be arranged between you and the trucking company - this may be in addition to the transit times listed above.

(3) HOW DOES DELIVERY WORK?

As UDUIT is a DIY service, it is expected you can assist the driver with unloading. Therefore you need to be there at the time of delivery as trucking companies only have 1 driver. Truck drivers will unload to the nearest point on your property accessible by a large delivery truck. For example if you have easy access they can drop it at your door (moving product in to and around your house is up to you). If your access is more difficult (eg steep driveway, or overhanging trees on your driveway) then they can drop off to the nearest accessilbe point on your property - you will need to transfer your order inside. If you have any questions - just ask.

(4) I UNDERSTAND UDUIT AUTOMATICALLY CALCULATES SHIPPING COSTS TO MANY TOWNS. HOW DO I TELL IF I'M CLOSE ENOUGH TO TOWN?

Once you've completed adding items to your basket, UDUIT will automatically calculate shipping costs for you. For larger cities - Auckland, Hamilton, Tauranga, Wellington, Christchurch, and Dunedin - the shipping calculation includes delivery to all suburbs regarded as part of normal city limits.

For smaller towns, the calculations also cover suburbs within town limits. If you are anywhere outside town or your address is referenced as RD then just send us an email and we'll check shipping costs for you before you order. Please complete an obligation free online quote first as this calculates the size/weight of the order.

If you've already gone through and made a payment, and you live outside of the town zones or an RD address, it's possible you many need to make a small extra freight payment. We will email you if this is the case.

Note: As greater Auckland is very large, plenty of shipping zones have been set up for you.

(6) WHAT PAYMENT SECURITY AND PRIVACY DO YOU HAVE?

We use a payment process run by New Zealand Banks and Payment Express. This process means that when you are putting in your credit card details, you are communicating directly with our Bank and Payment Express. We do not get to see your credit card details. Uduit gets notification from the bank that a payment has been made.

DPS/Payment Express (www.paymentexpress.com) runs an internationally compliant Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standard (DSS) system in conjunction with New Zealand's major banks. The UDUIT site has been audited to qualify for these security standards. As well as being tested for security standards for this system, a second step is that our business must apply to our New Zealand bank for a merchant faciliyt in order to interact with the DPS payment system. The bank rigourously checks the site and business for appropriate trading terms and conditions which protect consumers (and themselves) from any risk associated with non-delivery.

Some customers are concerned with the idea of placing credit card payments in advance of receiving their goods. In a small market, UDUIT would not have survived as long as it has without first class delivery committment and follow up. In addition to our committment to service - did you know that if you use your credit card, as a consumer you have more protection than you do if you pay by bank transfer, cash, or cheque? See the New Zealand Herald article, Saturday 4th August 2012 - Paying with plastic offers more protection.pdf
